From Toronto, the Jim Morrison of harp players and if the respect of his peers is anything to go by, Jerome Godboo is a giant on the music scene in Canada. He's played with such greats as : Prince, James Cotton, The Tragically Hip and Johny Winter

Steve Marriner, October 25th
From Ottawa, Steve is a young harp player that'll stop you in your track. He recently played with Harry Max at the Chicago Blues Festival and received a monster standing ovation. He was nominated at the 2007 Maple Blues Awards as "New Artist of the Year" and "Harp Player of the Year"

Shakura S'aida, November 8th
From Toronto, a native New Yorker, she's one of the great blues diva. She started off 2008 with a triumph at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis when she earned the 2nd runner-up position, competing against more than 100 bands from more than 20 differrent countries. She's been nominated three times by the Toronto Blues Society as the Maple Blues "Female Vocalist of the Year" (2004/2005/2008); and as "Entetainer of the Year" for the 2008 Awards.

Jack de Keyser, November 15th
From Toronto, 1 Juno, 7 Maple Blues Awards, the 2008 Winner, out of 15,000 submissions, of Nashville's International Songwriting Competition. In 2003, his CD "6 String Lover" won a Juno for Blues Album of the Year. Along his bluesy road, he received, among many other prizes, the following Maple Blues Awards Entertainer of the Year, Guitarist of the Year, and Eletric Act of the Year. Bharath & His Rhythm Four, November 22nd
From Montreal, finally back by popular demand, a blues straight out of the Delta. Winner of a Maple Blues Awards in 2003, playing with amps and mikes from the 60's, this band is an amazing replica of the golden age of bues. Even their original songs feel like they've been written by Jimmy Reed or Willie Dixon.
